ABOUT US
Before establishing, expanding, or furthering the story of development of Jaipur Gosamvardhan Samiti, it is important to understand its historical context. The All-India Goseva Sangh was established in Wardha, Maharashtra, and its branch, Rajasthan Goseva Sangh, was established in Rajasthan in 1954. This independent organization aimed to combine traditional cultural beliefs with a scientific approach to conserve, breed, and rear cows. The main aim of Goras is to provide superior quality products & as we all know Rajasthan is home to various breeds of Cows.
The primary objective of the Rajasthan Goseva Sangh is to breed cows of superior quality, provide high quality dairy products to the public at an appropriate cost, and also care for handicapped and helpless cows.
In 1958, Shri Radha Krishna Bajaj, Shri Manikchand Bohra, and Shri Baba Balwant Singh conceived the idea of rearing cows and collecting and distributing cow milk. The foundation stone of Goras Bhandar was laid in Talai village of Sanganer Tehsil, which initially collected and distributed 40 to 50 liters of cow milk and later expanded its operations.
